Hi i am having a M.R.I scan tommorrow, strange to have a hosptial appointment on a Sunday, i will have to get taxi to ad from as hubby is working, any one know how long for the results?

I will wear a cotton sports bra as no metal is allowed, do you think they will let me have a pillow as my neck is the main problem and i dont know if i can lay for so long without support.?

Thank you.

Hi

It took about 2 weeks for my MRI results to come back. Good luck with it. I hope you have a good result.

How did you get on? Were they looking for joint damage? Hope the pillow issue was resolved as you will know by now that you have to lie still for quite a while.

Naomi, i was supposed to lay still for 15mins, it was so difficult as i was unable to use a pillow, i had little air bags, so i had to have part redone.

Well no idea what half of this means but here go, any one got a clue let me know.
i have just been sent a copy of report

straightening of the cervical spine.

left postero-central annular disc bulge at c5-6 level causing indentation of the anterior csf column. i wonder if its all R.A related?

maybe this is why i have headaches?

Anne-m xx sorry i didnt get back sooner had my 2nd formal meeting today, god i wish it was over!

My MRI showed problems in the cervical spine (I think that means the neck) and I have headaches too. I wonder if my headaches are related to this and similar to yours. Mine are one sided, can go on for weeks at a time and extend from the back of the neck up to the top of the head. Best wishes from Naomi.

Naomi, the headaches i have tend to be at the crown of my head, almost a sensitive to touch pain, i do suffer from TMJ on the right side of my face this often causes cluster like Headaches?

We may never know?
